The Monster Mash!

This weekend was an eventful one to say the least. Everyday was something and it’s times like these that just make me want to stay in bed all day and not do shit. Crawl underneath a warm blanket overneath a cozy couch and catch up on my netflix instant queue. But NO! Not this time. I have spent many a weekend doing just that. So this weekend while part of the team headed over to Berkeley for a Portishead concert, I headed over to a Halloween party.

Dressing up for a party is kinda nerve wrecking. This year I promised myself I would be something scary. Didn’t happen. I ended up wearing my nephews scream costume from last year. Other people however got much more creative than I did. I seen Flava Flav, Snow White, I found Waldo and his girlfriend, Jason was there, a Court Jester, Lucy & Ricky Ricardo, Sexy Divas in Boa’s, Sally, and many more costumes I can’t remember right now.

Cheers to walking into a party by yourself and stumbling out with friends…

Empire Seven Studios – Shocker Event 10.15.11

It’s a beautiful thing when people can come together and help each other out. Losing a loved one is hard and finding the money to put them in the proper place after they have passed is most definitely harder. Empire Seven did a good thing Saturday night. People came together for a good cause and we can definitely dig it. We chatted with old friends, met some new ones and did some things we hadn’t done in a while…

The art work that was donated was amazing. Any dj that can throw some gangster songs in the middle of their mix is a-okay in my book. Complete with tattoos being given in the corner it was an event that anyone and everyone could appreciate.

Many blessings and prayers out the Lastra family and props to Empire Seven for putting it together.

Sticky Sticklers…

Stickers! An important factor in shameless promoting. Ordered more in honor of the new designs being released at the end of this month. Have a couple friends traveling to Costa Rica, hoping to get some out that way. So far our stickers have seen the green pastures of Louisville, KY. The beautiful Portland, Oregon and the peacefully chilly Seattle, Washington and if they arrive soon enough we will be able to add Costa Rica to that list.

These stickers are my pride and joy. It’s my most favorite thing to order because they are simple and saucy. Yet, however saucy they might be, we are always up for new ideas so if there are some stickers you would like to see done (i.e. a specific shirt design, something clever with the R, etc…) drop a comment, an email, a text, a yell from across the street, and best idea gets something small, cheap & special.
