San Jose Made Re-Cap!

If you have ever had any doubt about attending an SJMade event either as an exhibitor or as a shopper/passer-by/sight-seer, please slap yourself in the face right now. The vendors are innovative, creative, humble, genuine, really talented people and ready to network, talk, and offer their services all in benefiting the San Jose economy. There was everything there. Different kind of style shirts, jewelry, knick knacks, patty wacks, paintings, hair clips, photographs… on and on by do-it-yourself, in your neck of the woods artists.

The crowd ranged from every age to in the womb all the way to retired. San Jose is seriously the melting pot of the bay in my opinion. It’s where everyone comes to procreate with a different race and settle down. It was beautiful. The building had a vintage feel with it’s old school tile and staircase headed to the second floor where I heard it was hotter than downstairs, but all for the purpose of burning calories.

We were in the Old Spiedo Building and the other two buildings, Lusardi & San Pedro, were down the block on the other side. Sure it was a little walk, but who doesn’t enjoy a wonderful stroll down a beautiful street in glorious weather? It was packed! Maybe due to the Sharks game, who knows but it was certainly a busy place all day till about 6 or so.

It was very nice to see old faces and meet some new faces too. It’s always good to share a laugh and get some insight from the public. To friends and family that stopped by our booth, many thanks and blessings your way. If you copped a sticker or a shirt, put it up and let us see it!

Nothing can attest to the overall vibe of the event. Positive attitudes, awesome weather and great people is really all you need for a successful event. Props to Marie & Stephanie for making us feel welcome, making sure everything was all good, and for putting on another great event where San Jose-ans can come together and feed off each others energy.

Shout out to the vendors in our building holding it down in heat that would make the devil cringe – Jus Jodi, Social Villains, Crawl Apparel, La Buena Vida, Cukoo, Mighty Thredz, The Arsenal, SLG Art Boutiki, Teashack Project, & 594. I apologize if I forgot anyone… It’s all love!
