Life changes all the time. Everyone goes through different phases at different intervals. Our lives this time last year was completely different than it is this year and we are very fortunate and humbled for all the love and support we have been getting from folks – old & young alike.
I start on a positive note because I am about to get real serious right now. I fucken hate folding shirts. There is so much that goes into it. Lining it up right so you display the design properly. Keeping the creases crispy & straight so they don’t end up wrinkled in the package. Finding the right lighting, quality control, back support, and most importantly finding good music to DJ your task at hand. After about 30-40 shirts into it, I take a mandatory lap around the house and grab a drink, preferably coffee, take a sip or a shit and get back to the grind. It’s moments like these that I kinda wish I still had that horrible nasty habit that 9 times outta 10 result in speaking like a robot through your throat.
What I am trying to say is, each shirt is hand-folded by a child in modern day slave conditions. No, not really.
With the festival coming up and the release of our new summer line, we have been diligently folding & increasing standards of quality control. We pride ourselves in the attention to detail we adhere to because really that’s all you have. The amount of time dedicated to our shirt process might be ridiculous to others but imperative to us.
Not only will we have both the PR x RR line along with our summer line, we will also have for sale The Cali Series by Arte Urquidi, Necklaces fashioned by Jodi Mascarenas (you read right! she has worked extremely hard to bring us some dope shit for your neck!), decals, stickers, high fives & hugs! Stop by our booth by the youth stage OR get it all online after Saturday.
Thanks for reading. You know who you are.
And if you are really down you will head over and join us after the party to the after party at the Agenda where the fun will more than likely continue until the wee hours of the morning.
